Nestivo

How we use AI

AI is involved throughout Nestivo. It helps us research products, assess information, develop scoring and recommendation rules, and write the content you read. Human judgement, review and oversight remain critical to this work.

Human review and oversight

Human review and judgement are essential to developing and maintaining Nestivo: deciding what to investigate, questioning conclusions, reviewing assessments and making corrections.

Bringing the evidence together

We synthesise real parents’ published reviews and feedback with certifications, independent testing where available, and manufacturer and retailer statements to give a more rounded picture of each product. We help you compare which products hold relevant certifications and what those certifications cover. We also look beyond marketing statements, researching whether supporting evidence such as test reports or certification records is available and highlighting gaps we find. Parent experiences add insight into everyday use; they do not establish safety or suitability for every baby.

Research and written content

We use AI to help find, organise, compare and summarise sources, and to draft and revise product summaries, buying guides, education, FAQs and score explanations. This includes “Nestivo’s take”, “Why this score?” and the explanations alongside recommendations.

Scores and recommendations

AI has helped develop the assessment criteria, interpret evidence and build the scoring and matching logic. The website calculates displayed scores and matches using recorded product data, criteria, rules and your answers. It does not ask a live AI model to generate a fresh recommendation when you click to see results.

Responsibility and limits

Nestivo, operated by Simone Rabie, is responsible for the content it publishes and for correcting errors. AI can misread sources, miss context or produce inaccurate statements. AI involvement is not independent product testing or expert review, and does not mean every claim has been independently checked by a human expert. Use the linked sources, review dates and product instructions to check information relevant to your decision.
